Introducing the New Strand Interiors
I never set out to start a design business.
What began as working on our own condo slowly turned into helping friends, then friends of friends, with their homes — and before I realized it, a new dream had started to take shape.
At the time, I was still climbing the corporate ladder. For three years, I balanced a high-demand role at a Fortune 500 company while designing on evenings and weekends. Then I became a mom.
After our son was born, it became clear that I couldn’t do everything at the same pace anymore. I couldn’t be fully present in a demanding corporate role, run a rapidly growing design business, and be the mom I wanted to be. Something had to give, so I took the leap.
Two years ago, I left the corporate world and fully committed to Strand Interiors. It was equal parts exciting and terrifying, layered with all the joy, exhaustion, and learning that comes with being a new parent. And without a doubt, it’s been the best decision I could have made.
How far we’ve come
In a relatively short time, Strand Interiors has grown in ways I couldn’t have imagined early on.
What began as helping clients select paint colors and décor has evolved into managing full-home renovations, large-scale furnishing projects, and highly detailed, deeply personal spaces. The scope of our work has expanded, and so has the level of trust our clients place in us.
Along the way, my design philosophy has also become more defined.
I’ve learned what truly matters to me as a designer, how I want clients to feel throughout the process, and what kind of homes I believe are worth creating. The result is an approach that prioritizes thoughtful planning, livability, and a sense of ease. I want to create spaces that feel elevated, but never overly formal.
Why we rebranded
As the business grew, it became clear that the brand needed to grow with it.
The previous version of Strand Interiors no longer fully reflected the scale of our work, the level of service we provide, or the clarity behind our design philosophy. This rebrand wasn’t about changing who we are, it was about refining it.
The new Strand Interiors is rooted in what I’ve always believed:
Luxury should feel warm and approachable
Good design should support real life
Homes should feel personal, layered, and lived-in
The process should feel calm, guided, and intentional
At its core, our work is about laidback luxury for everyday living — designing homes that feel as good as they look, and making the experience as seamless as possible along the way.
A huge thank you to Grandview Collective for bringing our new brand to life
What isn’t changing
While the visuals may be new, the heart of Strand Interiors remains the same.
We still lead with listening. We still believe that the best spaces reflect the people who live in them. And we’re still deeply committed to creating homes that feel timeless, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated.
This new brand simply allows us to express that more clearly.
Looking ahead
This rebrand marks an exciting new chapter for Strand Interiors, but it’s also a reflection of the journey that brought me here — five years of growth, trust, learning, and doing work that truly lights me up.
To my clients, collaborators, and community: thank you for being part of this evolution. I’m so excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to continue designing homes that support real life, beautifully.
