Designing Homes in Laguna Niguel, CA

Our Laguna Niguel work covers everything from single rooms to full renovations. Bear Brand I and Bear Brand II took one home room by room, starting with the primary bedroom and moving on to the dining room, both with custom built-ins. Laguna Crest was a top-to-bottom renovation, and Le Port grew from a fireplace update into a staircase renovation with custom millwork throughout.

Laguna Niguel was one of California's first master-planned communities. Its plan took shape in 1959, with Victor Gruen's firm laying out the community, and homes went up in waves over the following decades before it became a city in 1989. Today it's a city of hillside neighborhoods, many of them gated, with HOA communities that each have their own feel.

That growth means a real mix of homes. You'll find Mediterranean-style homes in Bear Brand Ranch, Laguna Sur, and Ocean Ranch, ranch-style homes in El Niguel Heights and Kite Hill, Cape Cod influences in Beacon Hill, and contemporary builds in Niguel Summit. We tailor every room to the home's style and era.

Laguna Niguel Interior Design FAQs

Absolutely. Plenty of homeowners start with one space and keep going. In Bear Brand I and II, we designed the primary bedroom first, then moved on to the dining room. Working in phases lets you spread out the investment while every room still feels like part of the same home.
Yes. Fresh paint, new lighting, custom built-ins, and the right furniture can transform a room without moving a single wall. That's how we approached Bear Brand I, where a primary bedroom got a whole new look without a renovation. When a bigger remodel makes sense, we take that on too.
We work with the architecture instead of against it. Many Mediterranean homes in Laguna Niguel still have the heavier, darker finishes they were built with, so we lighten the palette, bring in natural textures and warm wood, and keep details like arches and wrought iron. The result feels fresh and relaxed while still suiting the home.
Yes. We design homes in gated Laguna Niguel communities, including Bear Brand Ranch. We coordinate access for deliveries and trades and work within your HOA's guidelines, so the process stays smooth for you and your neighbors.
Yes. We work with homeowners across Laguna Niguel, including Bear Brand Ranch, Laguna Sur, Ocean Ranch, Marina Hills, Kite Hill, Beacon Hill, and Niguel Summit.
